Data controller and scope
The data controller for SWGOH.io is Juan Sebastián Sánchez Hincapié, acting as an individual from Colombia. This policy describes processing related to the public site, registration, accounts and application. The privacy email on this page is the channel for questions and requests about your data.
Information we process
We process information you provide when registering or requesting help, such as username, email and ally code; authentication and permission information; and player and guild data needed for the features, such as identifiers, rosters, activity, results and goals. Payments generate customer and subscription references, plan status and transaction information. Infrastructure may record IP addresses, browser information and technical events to operate and protect the service.
Purposes and authorization
We use information to create and verify accounts, maintain sessions, restore access, synchronize game data, display analyses, manage permissions, handle requests and administer subscriptions. It also helps detect abuse and resolve errors. When processing requires authorization, it will be requested through the appropriate mechanism. Optional advertising or analytics uses are subject to the applicable information and choices; publishing this policy does not replace that authorization.
Sessions, local storage and security
The application uses a session cookie for authenticated access and local storage for preferences such as language. Blocking or deleting these items may sign you out or reset preferences. We use access controls and technical measures to protect information; no system can guarantee absolute security. Do not share passwords, recovery codes or full payment details in support requests.
External services and data sharing
We use Comlink to retrieve game information and Polar for checkout, payments and subscriptions. Polar processes financial data under its own terms and policy; SWGOH.io does not ask you to send full card numbers to support. Infrastructure and email providers may process data needed to operate the service, including outside Colombia, under applicable conditions and safeguards. If authentication or analytics providers are introduced, their use will be disclosed. Guild administrators see game and management information according to their permissions.
Advertising and Google AdSense
The free plan may display ads through Google AdSense and participating networks. These third parties may use cookies and identifiers to select ads based on visits to this and other sites. Where applicable, the consent panel and privacy choices let you manage these preferences. You can also adjust personalization in Google's My Ad Center or review the other network choices linked below. Paid plans include an ad-free experience.
Information retention
Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain relevant history and address applicable obligations, security and claims. Each plan's visibility limits do not mean stored data is deleted. You can request deletion of your account or data; the request will be reviewed and any necessary retention explained. Backups may need to complete their renewal cycle before a deletion is reflected.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can access, review, update and correct your data; request proof of authorization and information about its use; and request deletion or withdraw authorization where applicable. Email the privacy channel with your request and the minimum information needed to identify the account. We may verify your identity. Inquiries and complaints will be handled under applicable Colombian rules. You may contact Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce after completing the relevant process with the controller.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as the service or its processing changes. The date on this page identifies the current version. Relevant changes will be communicated through appropriate means, and new authorization will be requested when necessary.
